Congratulations to Senator Clinton
On a graceful exit, bringing a close to a historic campaign.
It was a fine speech, congratulatory towards Obama, yet taking just pride in her own accomplishments as a candidate. Better still, it seemed heartfelt and yet in a way, very calm. She laid out what should be very convincing reasons for her supporters to join her in backing the Democratic nominee.
She forgot to mention one more reason to support Obama, though: the horrible prospect of 4 years of seeing Joe Lieberman whispering corrections into McCain’s ears, in between foot massages.
UPDATE: Two of Senator Clinton’s most ardent supporters in the blogosphere, Talk Left and Taylor Marsh, heard and understood the clear message of Senator Clinton’s speech. “She did it. The way we can continue fighting for our goals is to elect Barack Obama.” “As one of her supporters, I am going to honor her wishes. She could not have been more clear.”

I popped on over to No Quarter a few minutes ago, to see if they had uncovered any new rabid ravings of Michelle Obama. In a post entitled “Cult-Aide Anyone?”, Larry is now defending McCain over Obama.
I think we can now give up any residual belief we might have had that Larry was a real Clinton supporter. He was nothing but a Republican troll from the beginning, setting out to sow as much Democratic dissent as possible. Now that he has failed to help the Democrats to nominate the more vulnerable candidate, he is showing his true colors.
Let’s forget about this clown and get down to the business of electing a Democratic president.

Now they’re posting some email from a supposed Hillary supporter (probably an LGF or freeper) claiming that Hillary’s speech was packed with “Obama thugs” who cheered wildly whenever HRC mentioned Obama, and “disrespected” her.
Next those morons will be claiming that Obama is part of a kidney theft ring, and Chelsea woke up in a bath tub filled with ice. . .
